Typically our Ruggies are more symmetrical either because they were woven to be one small piece or they were cut from the heart of a larger rug. This Ruggie is cut from a rug that had more of an all over design, making this little snippet a cute, little asymmetrical one-off! The mauve-y pink is the perfect contrast to the darker, moody grays, greens and blues.

What’s a Ruggie? A Ruggie is the name we have affectionately given to the small doormat sized rugs. They don’t get the attention or the $$ that the big rugs do, but they are key style pieces and you will be surprised at how well they can polish off a room!! We use them in bathrooms in front of the sinks, as doormats, in front of mirrors, in small hallways, the options are endless!

Made from 100% wool and vegetable dyes over 40 years ago, this item is a truly unique piece to add to your home. You will see worn places and repairs just like with the rugs, as these are antiques, but they have lots of life left in them.
